Default underbody advice

I have just about got my 66 stripped down to the shell. I have powerwashed the underside of the car and there are no rust spots and it still has the red primer from the factory I think. What is everyone using for underbody coating here - I am doing the restomod and not concerned about being concours correct? Is anyone using bed liner? What about some of the rubberized products that also have some sound deadening capability? Anyone using the asphalt products like O Henry?

Also, I have some surface rust on the inside of the back floor pans - I am thinking about just taking off the surface rust and using por-15 followed up with some paint - what do you think?

i personally am tossing around the idea of bed liner, rhino lining more specifically. it would work, just make sure there is nothing there at all to begin with. por-15 is excellent for minor rust spots, nothing where the rust has eaten thru, of course. the only downfall i see to the rhino lining is cost. you can also turn around and freshen up the factory primer and as long as that is in good condition, you should be on your way, with no problems.

Thanks guys. The line-x stuff does look cool. I am almost thinking to do the O'Henry's thing - someone did this in a few spots where water drains alot and the metal is pristine underneath the asphalt. And definitely O'Henry's would be the cheapest alternative. My neighbor was saying to use this asphalt product they have at his work where you roller it on and the surface cures a silver color but it is black asphalt underneath. I am mainly looking for durability and am not going show or anything where anybody would be looking underneath. Of course, if they did , they would see the sick TCP sub-frame kit that I am having welded in with new frame rails this week

If you have a nice red oxide primer undercarrage why mess it up with any type of undercoating. You must be in a climate that is pretty dry if the undercarrage is that nice. Touch it up and leave it alone would be my 2 cents worth. That is what I did with mine. Used simple green and scrub brush and got it clean. Then just touched up a few spots with some red oxide primer. Every thing you see in the pics is original red. I had not touched it up yet
