start solenoid?

Default start solenoid?

what r the signs that the solenoid is bad or not working correctly ...i posted yesterday about my startor ok that problems fixed now when i turn the key its turning right but now all im getting is click out of the solenoid? my battery i think is fine its got enough juice to turn the startor if i touch staight power to it fom the battery but when i hook it up the right way i just get a click but even though its new i guess it could of already went bad? right

just getting a "click" sound out o fyour soleniod is one of the biggest signs. i think it's worth you while to replace it. it should only run you a few bux and could very well be the solution to your problem. i'm not going to say i told you so until you come back and tell me that was the problem! LOL!

ok ok i replace it ....i think it might be to but damn i just bought it who knows ill be back in 30 min to tell ya

Replace the solenoid, then get back if that doesn;t solve it.

ok i got it BUt i didnt put it on yet ... i wanna make sure i wire this thing right ok ive got the red battery cable and black/yellow wire and a single red wire ...tht is what i had on the pos side ...on the other i only had the startor cable . now then the red/blue and the brown wire go where? on the little prongs which one one is labeled s and the other has an i on it so i wanna get this right thanks

how did you do it when you replaced it last time? please tell me you took one post at a time and switched them like that.

well in my harness i know how it goes except on the + battery side ive got this red wire in my harness besides the +positve battery wire so ive got 3 wires on that side i know where the little wiresred/blue and brown no prob go i just wanted to double check myself

the only wire i dont know about is a red wire comming out of my harness it either goes to the solenoid or the battery ?
