I'm trying to explain to the mustang store what this part is called and they are not understanding me. This goes on the inside of the front fender and covers the spring and shock and bolts on to the shock tower.

This may turn into the ever famous "What's this Part" contest. It appears to me to be the back side of the shock tower.

I called a different parts store and they figured it out, they are calling it the shock tower cover. They are very pricey at 81.25 cdn. each.

 

Sounds logical. Too damn much money for a piece of metal though.

 

Hey! That thing just cracked on my Mustang! Only 81.25cdn?? so thats *thinks thinks* only $73.20 us?? Sweet! I'd anticipated much higher.. *breathes sigh of relief* Still a lot for what it is, but I suppose that's how these things tend to go.

NPD has them starting at $33.25 each depending on which year stang you have.
