Default Found woodgrain kit

A while back I had posted looking for a good woodgrain kit for my console (1966 coupe). The only ones available from the mail order shops were the vinyl ones, which are crappy. The shops used to sell aluminum backed kits, but no longer. I did a search and found www.tonysautoclassics.com. He sells a woodgrain kit that is on an aluminum base. I got it last week and installed it. So far, I am impressed. While expensive, it is much better than the plain vinyl, which did not stick well and rolled up. If anyone is looking for the aluminum-backed woodgrain kit for a console or the dash, you may want to give Tony's a try. I hope this does no violate any spam policies.

Yup. He (Tony Ascue) is a real nice guy. I sent him pictures of the install to post on his website.

Thank you very much for posting this. I have been looking for this quality of kit for a while now. In comparison to your dash and glovebox, doe the tint of the stain match?

Thanks again,
