Coolant still shoots out
If you didnt read my old post, new rad, new pump, worked fine the day after. Then the day after that coolant started shooting out of the overflow tank whenever I go over 50. Got a new rad. cap. New upper hose. Filled it to the neck with fluid, ran it with the cap off for 5 min and saw about two bubbles. Took it on the interstate this morning and it still does it. Only when I go over 50. So I can cruise in the 40's just fine. The whole cooling system is new (incluiding thermostat) except the lower hose. Thats THE only thing left. Besides replacing that, anyone have any ideas? Im lost.
I agree, the hose is the next logical explanation specially if the overheating occurs only after specific speed, try to get a lower hose with a metal spring to avoid collapsing, good luck

the metal spring ones are a bit stronger, unless you wanna run those metal hoses (pipes?).
Can I ask a silly little question.....are you sure you hooked your overflow hose up to the correct port on the overflow tank?
If you hook it up to the wrong one, it will just pour any coolant the radiator spits out, right out the overflow tank....I'm sure you didn't do this, but the question has to be asked.

The car did not come with an overflow tank. It had a ube going straight to the ground. I just simply rigged up a brake fluid canister to catch any that came out. and it works good.

Guys, it doesn't matter if he Has a overflow or not, or how he has it hooked up. Something isn't right. My car gets super hot, and hardly any water comes out of my overflow hose. His runs cool, and it pours out.
