Default Mustang script on fenders

Sorry, I dont own a classic stang but sure like the looks. What year had tri bars and the mustang script on the fenders. I have some retro tri bars that were on the 65 - 66 (dont flame me for my ignorance) are there script of MUSTANG with 3M on the back to match. I dont want the new script with old tri bars.

I like the looks of the new Mustangs as well. Ford took that look from the 67 and expanded it into a beautiful car. The badges on the fender started back with the first 64 1/2 Mustangs. Here is a pic of my 65 fender.

ACtually Glen i disagree. Ford didn't do a great job with the new mustangs. I LIKE THEM!! It's just that, They're based on 67's..... i have a 67, and to me, they just didn't do anything close to a 67. NOW, have you seen the new Challengers? THEY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE A 70 Challenger. The mustangs dont. Also, What makes me really mad. A 67 mustang is alot bigger on the inside. I cant even fit in the back of a new mustang, yet in my 67, i have all kinds of room in the back. They are too small, and under powered. That 4.0 V6 can have alot more power. My reasoning, is that Ford doesn't want a V6 to have close to the power of their V8. Why doesn't ford put bigger V8's in the stang? They are still putting 4.6's, why cant they step up to the 5.4, or even a 5.8? I still love the new stangs, and i was pissed when we didn't buy one two days ago, but oh well. I just have a few disagreements with them.

I think Ford did a very good job of making the new one look like the 67-68

naw. Not to me. It's a nice car, and they bought back SOME of the designs of the older stangs, but it's not even close to a 67.

ORIGINAL: 351foxstang

the script/cursive "mustang" emblem was on the 68's fenders.

I heard that was the case. Show us a cursive "mustang" on a 68.
