Default 67/68 fastback, are they the same?

Ive been looking around for a while at 67 mustang fastbacks and its very hard to find one in decent condition for restoration. What are the differences in a 67 and a 68 fastback if any? Anyone now of any good places to find a 67 or a 68 for sale thats not restored yet? Thanks, Adam

The only differences I'm aware of is the 68 has side marker lights and the base V8 was a 302 rather than a 289. There may have been some interior/trim differences too. The 390 was available both years but I believe the 427 was a 67 only option and the 428 was a mid-68 option.

Yeah, the side reflectors were added for 1968. The grill is a little different as well. As far as interiors go, I know the steering wheel changed in 1968, and if I'm not mistaken, the dash changed, too. Maybe fake wood grain was added in '68?

Along with the already stated, the biggest exterior trim difference was the fake vents behind the door on the 67. The 68 was shaped a little with out the vents.
