FINALLY i have brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we didnt bleed the master cylinder so we did and now i have a full pedal.

oh yeah so now i get to start on body work and geting it ready for paint how hard is it to put a vynal top on?

 

Dou you mean how to repace your vinyl roof you already have, or put a new one on from scratch? If you don't already have a vinyl roof, you are asking for trouble by putting one on. If you are replacing the one you already have, just make sure all the rust has been encapsulated and holes repaired before you put the new one on. It shouldn't be all that hard with another pair of hands to help you stretch it.

Why? It's just a moisture trap. I think you would have a better looking car without one.

I don't have a vinyl roof, so it won't look like mine if you put a vinyl roof on it. Your best bet is to repair the section where the tree fell on it. Trying to cover it up with vinyl is not the way to go.

 

yeah i have a black top and i think it looks better without one sometimes. dont try to cover a dent with it because it with create a moisture pocket and you will ahve a rust hole in your roof in no time!

 

i fixed the dent but now its wavy as the ocean.i like the look of the black tops
