color suggestions for the 69 Mach
The welding on the car is coming along and soon it will be time to think about paint. The car was originally painted Silver jade. When I bought it in 1986 it was red and I repainted it red in 1990 during a cosmetic restoration. I'm not crazy about the Silver Jade and this current rotisserie restoration will by no means be original. Plans for the car include 351W stroker, TKO 500 conversion, power rack steering, suspension upgrades etc. I would however like to paint the car a 1969 Mustang color, keeping the 69 Mach scheme. Many ideas ofcourse are crossing my mind, but what do you think about Acapulco Blue with the red Mach stripes? I don't recall ever seeing one but think it may look nice. Opinions and suggestions welcome.

Grabber blue! Did they have that in 69? I know they had it on the bosses and stuff in 70. I love that color, and Grabber Green, no color is so cool and makes me want to puke so much at the same time!!
cool web site that shows all the colors for each year

You just have to paint the car "groovy green"! I often laugh when I look at the available colors for that time period. But then I remember that during this same time period there was a prime time TV show that featured a talking horse! And then it all starts to make sense, in a weird sort of way.
