Default 65-66 fastback seat question

My question is how the heck do you remove a rear seat (bottom) from the 65-66 fastbacks?

I have seen posts about 67-68 cars and they are just simple push back and up on the back seat to remove. However I tried that with my seat and could not get it to work.

Looked in all my books and none of them made any sense or made no reference at all to how to remove them. The only way the seat seemed to give any was when you pull up on the back part of the seat, but with the fold down still in the thing wouldnt come out. Do you just have to remove the fold down seat first?

It is the same as the coupes you push into seat from the front in the middle there is a kinda double hook under there. when I took mine out the last time it was kind of though. Stand with one foot on each side of the hump facing the seat and push in with your knees and lift with your hands.

It also helps if you pull up on the back of the seat bottom as far as you can before you push back.
