I believe those are 650 lb. Most guys are going with the 620 with the 1" drop.

never heard of 'em, but i have heard a million and one good things about the 620* coils and the kits from both www.mustangsplus.com and www.mustangdepot.com. i'm sure you can find the springs and full kits elsewhere, but these are the names i hear the most. oh, and i'm darn sure NPD has them too for a good price.

OK guys I found that the stock rate is about 300 Lbs. To answer your Q, 620 means that it takes 620 lbs to move the spring 1 inch. If you cut a coil off of the spring you raise the spring rate.

heres what im talking about, they have "Progressive Rate" for the 65-66 and variable rate for all years, so these would be the ones i mean.....it says racing and street suspension at the same time essentially i guess...i dont know if i know though real difference though......im interested in these as i want a really good handling car but dont want to just waste money for some gimmick....

i really don't understand how they can acheive that with one spring. it seems to defy physics(SP). i mean, if you have a sprin that is meant to be stiff for racing, you have a stiff spring, without changing the physics of the spring, or plain changing it out, you cannot get a softer suspension. they leave a lot of details out on these things. [&:] i'm all sorts of confuggled now. can anyone explain this now so i don't think these are from the twilight zone!

they'll prolly work, but they'll bounce a bit more. after driving my lesabre with dynachit suspension that makes me feel like a bobble head, i'm almost tempted to bolt 4x4's in instead of springs!

yeah i agree, it sounds impossible.......like i guess its possible if you had some sort of high tech computer controlled air supsension but not with an a coil up piece of metal.....although if they can somehow explain to me how thats possible id be interested i suppose.....
