I am just about done building a 65' w\ just about everything cool done to it. So now im on the interior and was thinking about putting late model mustang seats in it. has anyone done that or how hard is it to do?



mods

aluminum driveshaft
9" rear end
disk brake conversion
rack and pinion steering
2 many body mods to list off the top of my head

I know this probaly pisses off u original mustang guys.

 

if you decide to put late model seats use the 65 seat mounting brackets because the new seat brackets are too high and will only give you a few inches of leg room from the wheel.

 

I havnt done it myself but there was a few post about it in the past and it seemed very easy. You might find it in the search.....However it has seemed broke latley.

i gonna be my daily driver so i wanted something powefull yet nothing 2 crazy. its not just for looks thats why i converted the steering, brakes. im 16 and this is my first old car project and i think its petty damn cool. no pics right now because its being painted, lambo yellow w\ black racing stripes down the whole car. its been about a 2 year project now and just about everything on the car is new. it was a total junker. all that work has finally produced a car!!

 

Thanks for the link. I think I may just start looking around for some late model seats. Does anyone have late model seats installed in their 65-66 coupe?

 

i had 89 high backs installed before i bought 64 seats
