Default newcomer to classics

Hi, im a new comer to mustangs and to the whole classic car thing. But i am really loving the 1966 fastback. Im looking for one that i can restore a little bit and keep up, an everyday driving car. How cheap could i find one for. to have to restore a little bit (not alot though!) I don' t really care how big the engine is i would like a 302 but it doesn't matter cause my insurance probably wouldn't let me get it. sadly insurance don't like 18 year old drivers.lol. any comments would be great.

Hi there mewbie,

66 fastbacks came with 200six's or the 289 V8.
Good luck finding a good fastback for less than $8,000 that only needs a little work.

So welcome to the forum and Enjoy[sm=smiley16.gif]

go to ebay and do a search for '66 fastbacks, I was looking at them the other day and there were fixer uppers for 5000.00 and under. For some reason theyre cheap right now.
