Maaco did a good job on my moms work van. It looks like a factory paint job in great shape. It still looks great 2 years later. She paid 1000. I think everything depends on the indidvidual shop owners.

Yeah, I paid 4200 for mine and they did everything. 2 quarters, 4 inner fenders, some trunk floor peices, totally stripped it down to the shell and got in every nook and cranny and painted the inside and put it all back together with the chrome on the outside. I just had to reassemble the interior. My paint job is really good too. I was impressed with it. It took a year to do though.

ORIGINAL: Scott H.
Out here in California (maybe other places too) we have "Earl Shiebs" that is thought of as even lower quality.
That's Earl Scheib's, and he'll paint any car for $99.95!

Honestly man, I have my old '69 primer black and when I'm driving down the roads I still get thumbs ups and shouts. Everyone loves a classic regardless of how bad off it looks.

It's all in the sound of the engine. If you can shut up all of the little import guys around you then you are the Alpha and the ladies like the Alpha.

When your car is cool enough to slap the ricer boys without even running them, that is the coolest. As far as alpha males go, will never fall into that catagory and don't want to. I do like wet girls though.

It ain't all in the engine either. You know how girls like all that shiny expensive stuff.
