i am looking for a good manifold for my engine it is a 289 but i think i am gunna get either a Weiand X-CELerator or a Edelbrock Performer RPM i have an rpm on my 460 and i like it and my buddy had a weiand on his engine dunno what it is though but they both felt nice over the stock but i dunno what to get
If the rest of your engine is stock, the stock replacement 4v manifold is the Performer. (Slightly better flow than std.) The RPM is designed to match the RPM cam and head, and as such on a stock motor, I can't see it giving you much benifit. On Windsors, the exhaust is the most restricive side, and you tend to see greater gains by improving flow on that side, say with some headers and twin system.
i am getting some gt40 heads and i go tthe headers with 2.5in pipe and a holley 4160 and i am also gunna do a new cam timing chain but i was unsure on the manifold
