floorboard question

Default floorboard question

The floorboards in my 66 fastback are all fine except on the passenger side in front of the seat. its a hole about 8-10 inches long and 4 inches wide, max! uhmm how much do u guys think a body shop would charge to fix that? should i replace the whole floor? (i have sanded the whole floor down to make sure that the rest was in good shape, and it is). Anyways, anybody got any suggestions? ill post a pic of the floor later tonight if i can [&:]

if u can weld u can do it for only the price of the replacement floorboard

That sounds like too big of a rust hole to patch it. If it were mine, I would cut out the passenger side floorboard and have a new one put in. It won't be much more if any more work or expense than cutting out the hole back to good steel and patching it. My 2c
