If I'm in the same era or make of the other car and it's a somewhat uncommon car. I don't nod to other Honda drivers because then I'd look like I was headbanging. But if I'm in the Porsche, Audi, or when I'm in the Mustang I will.

If I am in the 72 I will wave, especially if they wave first. I think it is just like the motorcycle wave or the jeep wave It's a form of bonding with other car guys/gals. If you wave first and they don't wave back don't be insulted, maybe they didn't see you.
