I guess the GT/CS can't get no love. I loved the one I had. It was yellow with black stripes and had the high HP 390 with an auto. I guess you could get them with small block 2Vs also. That doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

I was always a first gen guy, but lately I've really been looking close at the Boss 302. That was a real work of art.
I had mistakenly thought it was an overweight toad raced by some of the best teams of the era. Sometimes I can't believe my own ignorarance
)
The more I read up on the Boss 302 the more impressed I am at the engineering and handling prowess... and yeah Parnelli and his team where just flat out bad a$$.

Like Scott, I was always hooked on first-gen, too, and that would be my preference to own. But after going to the Ford classics show here in Minn done by the upper midwest Shelby club, and seeing them all side by side, the family consensus was the 68 fastback looks coolest. Just husky enough.
