Default Rear Suspension

I am finaly getting around to putting in my new 9". I took it apart so long ago, I can't remember if there is a pad that sandwitches between the leaf spring and the mounting foot on the housing. Kind of like they do on the old camaros. Can anyone jog my memory? Thanks.

Almost positive there's no pad. The spring perch on the housing just rests on the spring.

gjz30075 is correct. If it is a stock application, there is no pad, the leaf spring has a tab that sticks out, the spring perch on the rear end fits right over that tab. However, if you have lowering blocks, there is a plate/block that site in bewteen the leaf spring and the spring perch on the rear end.
