HOW CAN I ....

0k, here's the situation... some guy wants to sell me his new (HOOKER SUPER COMPS- ceramic coated) for $350. Now, I can't tell the diffrence from COMP's and SUPER COMP's. Does anyone know how to tell the diffrence from both just by looking at them? because i dont want to find out at the end that I bought COMP's when I was really paying for SUPER COMP's. Any advice would be apreciated!
p.s.- it for my 65' 289.

If it were me, I would find out what the difference is suppose to be between the two (comps and super comps), then examine. Do you know what the diff is? If not, that should be your first question.

Go to the Hooker website, or call Hooker and ask. I am sure they will be glad to answer your questions. Just don't tell them you are buying them used. Good luck.

The only difference between the two headers are the thickness of the tubes used. The hooker super comps are thicker in all areas. That is a good deal if they are really the super comps. Both the super comps and comps have the 1 5/8 primary size.
