Default old parts disposal?

im starting to build up a pile of old parts that i need to get rid of. a couple fenders that are rusted and falling apart, an old intake manifold, some old exhaust manifolds, and other random crap. Anyone know of how to dipose of this stuff. Can i sell it for scrap medal at a scrapyard? Or does somewhere special dispose of it cuz our local garbage men wont take carparts...unless i hack it up in to small pieces and put it in a trash can and they cant tell what it is...but that's too much work.

sell it to a recyler or scrap yard, you'll get a small return on all your hard work, unless the parts are still useable in that case sell on ebay

I'm sure I don't have to tell you since you been around here awhile but you would be surprised what people will buy. If the fenders have any salvageable metal on them someone would possibly want them. If not then take it all to a scrapyard, sometimes they pay by the pound.

I'm sure you could sell a stock intake and exhaust manifolds. Don't just trash them.

sorry i took a while to respond but thanks for the help. the exhaust manifolds might be saveable. IMO its not worth it but i'll put em on ebay anyway. since its only like 80 cents to post it,lol. The fenders are 100% rusted and about 25% bondo. The intake i'll prolly ebay but its only a 2bbl. Also, anyone know what I should ask for a C4 tranny in good condition? Heck, if anyone here wants it i'll give first dibbs to our buddies here.

i also have a C4 in good condition. Comes with linkages, lines, drive shaft, etc. Looks very good. it worked fine when it was pulled out of a fairlane.

i never used it so i cant say for sure how great of condition it is in. I can say i know the shifter works and it appears clean. It still has the torque converter with it. I'm down in South Florida near Ft. Lauderdale. Basically, I got the car, and just ripped the drive train apart to start rebuilding, and then i decided i wanted a T5 instead of the C4 so its been sitting around for a few months now.
