i was wondering if i put one of these in my line would it help my tranny just cause i put a tranny cooler on my truck and it helped alot but it looks kinda junky and i want something cleaner and i could make this cleaner but would it work like the normal tube fin rad lookin coolers

looks more like heatsinks and stuff on my computer components lol........im sure it wouldnt hurt...but who knows if it will work until you try it i guess....do u need to get temps down?

Sure it will work. Look at the fins on the head of a Briggs and Stratton engine.

i don't need to get temps down but living in phx,az as hot as it is i like to be safe and have extra-cooling and i was wondering if those things worked or are just a rippoff

I would say they would not work unless 1) they were attached to the tranny/radiator in such a way they would transfer heat away from the tranny/radiator rather than just trap it there. 2) They had some sort of cooler air flowing over them.

Heat sinks work well unless you don't attach them properly to draw the heat away from their intended device. Just like a computer processor. If you don't use the heat sink gel, it's worthless.
