Default 1968 Fenders Value.....

ok im trying to convince my dad, even if buy new non-bondo fenders...the original ones from my car, even with bonded up emblem holes and possible bits of bondo elsewhere, are still worth something....correct? i want to strip them to bare metal to make sure they really are bad and the body shop guy isnt just bull sh*tting me so he can take the scraps and sell em or something......

no rust at all...they arent down to the bare metal so i dono if theres dents and stuff but from looking in from the inside of the fender there appears to be no obvious dents......

thats what im thinking........or he just dosent want to deal with it and spend the extra labor stripping layers of primer and paint and crap and would rather give his "lifetime guaruntee" paint job on a brand new fender.....
