just was given a 70 coupe and was wondering if i bought the repro quarter panels for a fastback could i weld them in and "make" a fastback? i mean i do realize i would have to buy the glass and trunk lid but the bumpers and taillights and some other misc parts should fit but i was wondering about the quarter panels. thanks everyone!!!!

 

do some searches around the internet, it's been done before, but I do believe it's more work that it's worth.

 

And how about the roof? The rear end of a fastback is completely different from a coupe. If you are prepared to put on a rear clip, then go for it, but you will be deep in debt before you turn around.

I agree, seems like most people want fastbacks, but I love my coupe. This topic has been discussed on here before I believe, you can find info on it somewhere.

people dont want coups because they are to common. they made alot of them because they are the best. thats what i think haha.

 

If someone gave me a fastback, I think I would sell it and buy 2 coupes.
