Are these cars not very desirable? I know on nada they are worth any where from 10,000 to 60,000.

A lot of people have the perception that the 71-73 are lethargic. Let 'em...I like 'em a lot better than some of the other first gens. I'd buy it for $4500 without thinking twice if it's a real Mach (even the fastback is pretty rare in '73 and well worth the money).

if it looks good then do it! i would, the 71 to 73 is my personal choice of mustangs!

Yep. The VIN also contains the body style (coupe, fastback, Mach, convertible, Grande).

The people that like them will pay good $ for them. People looking to win a poplarity contest will sell them for very little coin...

That is a nice clean car. I saw one worse than that go for 15k at a Vegas auction, th owner wouldn't sell for that.

It is easily worth that.

I would love that car. If it looks as good in person as it does in the pictures then it is a great buy at $4500. Have you seen it? There aren't many pictures of the engine bay, apart from the one closeup of the engine, so I'd be curious to see what the condition of the rest of the underhood area is.
