Default back from paint shop pic

Hi all!
Well, after a long process, and I will not go into detail as I have a new outlook on my car thanks to a fresh coat of paint, here it is. Tell me what you guys think as I would like to know. I think MAACO did a nice job. There were 2 runs that I MISSED but they said they would take care of them. My body work I think was acceptable for the most part. Like I said before it will get me through untill I get the quarters replaced due to some rusting you can't see. I hope to drive it in 2 weeks. MAACO did say that most cars they get my age don't run like mine.
Walt

Hi Walt,

If the rest of the car looks that good, I'm impressed. Nice door alignment too. Are you going to lay down the GT stripes, and doll it all up?

And heck, there's still summer left!

That looks great. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay?

Hiya Scott and 67Sally,
I paid 2,200 to have it painted. That was with jammin wich added 750. That is in the trunk, engine area and around the doors to match the new color. I went from White to Red. Even though I had stripped all the paint off I needed these areas painted. The break down was 1400 paint and 600 primer. 200 misc. Hey Scott. yep, all the GT stripes and badges are in the garage. I bought 1000 dollars of new stuff. GT stuff and new weather stripping all around. The GT trumpets are in and the GT fog lamps this weekend. I will do the GT script and stripe last as I want to drive the her. It is runnin really nice after my 4V upgrade. The rebuild on my ebay carb went well. First rebuild job. A shop manual really helps!!

I like it a lot. I'm always a sucker for red stangs. What kind of red is it?
