Anybody know what diameter, metric if possible, hog rings I need to replace my front seat covers? I believe i need two sizes

I only used one size for the whole front seat re-upholstery. I'd have to measure when I get home - but I'd guess they are about 1.5 cm when "uncrushed" and 0.75 cm after they are "crushed".

Just to explain my guesses a little more, when I say "crushed" I mean after they have been closed and are in a triangle shape. The "crushed" size is estimated from any corner to the opposite side length. The "uncrushed" shape looks kind of like the letter "C" and measures the two furthest points.

(Now I think I've confused myself...) Hope this helps at least somewhat.

Well went do my local autoshop to get some hog-rings and pliers and they looked blank the i explained in my basic dutch what there were and nope don't sell them!!! If i wanted stupid fibreglass body kits for a focus no problem but really car parts................
