Original restoration, but not having to stick to MCA judging rules such as needing an Autolite battery instead of an Interstate which is a better battery. I do however, think that the body should be unmolested, and that the running gear remain the same as factory specs. I do however, suggest that front disk brakes and suspension upgrades be added. Also, adding some nice wheels is not out of bounds as far as I am concerned. Just don't drastically change the looks of a classic by putting big 17 inch or bigger chrome wheels on one.
I should have stated--Money being no object, just pure opinion. I would have to agree that "trans-am style" mustang restos are cool--i would say that it falls into category B---its not a G machine, cause it aint perfect, but its not an option C factory spec original restoration--cause there are mods to make it a track worthy car---
Sunday Cruiser and Weekend Warrior I guess fall into that same category in my at work Poll--Option B

personally, I like to make 15% car...only 15% of the people that look at it realize that it is modified, I also like period correct cars. Mini-lites on a 67 look right, while Foose wheels don't...
