my "race car" was named "Old Ugly" by my friends in Charleston, because I had the oldest ugliest car in the group for a while.

The fastback has acquired the moniker "nightmare" because exorcising the rust has become exactly that.

Otherwise its easier to call them the year, 74, 70, 72, 98, or by color, red, brown, blue, yellow etc... (truthfully I own too many cars)

Expressions of less than desireablity also come into play when something isnt working right or the damn thing just wont ET.

Hi people im new here, and i have a 78 Mustang II. Its a factory Ghia, but i dont call it that because with all the mods and changes im doing to it, its nothing ghia ish if you get what i mean, so i refer to it as a BPU. lol. My license plate is 4GOTTN1 so it gets called that most of hte time, and since ive recently fell in love with a friend named Ashley, i call the car Ashley, and im going to see how my friend feels about that when i first say it in front of her. lmao. Maybe i should just stick to 4GOTTN1. lol. But yea, its a bright (faded) red Mustang II with a half vinyl top in white, and a sunroof, so its a pretty rare car, witht the odd options it has, i honestly think its the only one of its kind. Are there any places to get a report to see if its truly a one of a kind.

I usually just refer to the 72 as "Old Blue" or "Blue" even though it is teal in color. But like others have said it has other names from time to time.

Not given her a name yet however, it's absorbing mass amount of fun tickets ( money ) atm. That may be adopted into the name by the time I am done with her. Along w/ other choice words I am sure

Pony Express is what I named her, my boat has the same name due to all the pony's under that hood. They both are screamers!
