I have a 67 fastback witha 289 and I need a new battery. I want to go with a reproduction of whatever ford was putting in these cars. I believe the autolites were only for 302 and up. Not 289. Does anyone know what ford was using for the 289?

The concours battery for the orignals was the autolite.

 

I beleive it was the Autolite 27 for the 289. Should be able to get one in just about any catalog.
