Most are turned off of EFI because teh late model intake lust looks ugly in a classic Mustang. If I had the money I'd go with a Mass Flo EFI system. Great performance and still looks good under a classic hood.

no no no! i know 5.0 and 302 are the same. i was saying a 5.0 with all the EFI stuff might not fit in a early early mustang

It will fit. It has been done many times, and there are several magazine articles out there. Hood clearance is tight and there are options to use different motor mounts to drop the engine a little bit.
