Default more info on that 380rwhp 65 coupe

ok, i talked to the guy whos letting me sell his car for him agian today. last time we talked it was only about 5 mins, this time it was a good 1/2 hour. What he told me is that hes about 65 years old and doesnt drive it anymore and simply wants some1 else to enjoy it. he got it brand new when he was about 24 or 25 and he told me that it has the Freakin Original 289 K Code Hi-Po motor in it and that about 5 years ago he finished restoring it. Today he told me that its about %98 restored and that the last thing he did was get it painted. he told me 7 coats of primer, 7 coats of gold pearl and 7 coats of clear. Its got Crager SS' all the way around. its got a ford 9in trac loc rear end with 373 gears. its an automatic with some sort of tranny upgrade (i kno it included a slap shifter) i coudnt write it all down cuz he was talkin kinda fast lol. its got a lunati racing cam and he said that hed have to find the paper that had the cam info on it before he could tell me cuz he didnt remember. he told me his engine was professionaly rebuilt with some tri-y headers, new intake, holley 780 cfm carb, MSD electronic ignition, performance radiator and alternator, he told me it Needs an electric fan becuase the stock fan isnt powerfull enough to cool the motor when its idleing, but it runs fine when its movin. He told me hes got the engine blue-printed and that the engine is capable of 9k rpms. thats all i know for now. he told me hes in the middle of a move and that the stang is in storage underneath a bunch of stuff. he said that it would be at least a week before i could get some pics. What do u guys think its worth? OH and the engine is litterally a show engine almost all chrome parts

Wow 21 coats of paint!!! Wow that is crazy. Too much paint can be a bad thing. Also the engine is probably way to wild to run on the street. But how streetable an engine is for some people is just an opinion. Some guys think it is just fine to run around on the street with an engine that idles at 1,500 rpm and runs on race gas. While others think if it lopes a little that is too much. It is all an opinion and what your willing to put up with. Go check it out and get us some pictures.
