Default Here's my new Stang......

I had my 67 Fastback S Code delivered today. I may have taken on more than I can handle, but I just don't care. I've already found a problem that I should have noticed when I was looking the car over.

Here's my little helper.....

Back side shot.....

Front clip....or lack thereof.....

'67 Mustang, Fastback. A car barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic car. The '67 Mustang will be that car. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

Bug and tar remover got him off.......

The problem I noticed was a cut in the door pilar(? term), and a gap. Not sure why it's there, but it's there....

Side note...none of the bodywork here was done by me....so you can make fun of it and not hurt my feelings.....

Lots of work! The big gap looks scary. It will definatley be a great car though when its done. Your son's going to love it in about 10 years.

The gap doesn't bother me at all considering you have to replace that section anyhow with the condition of the surrounding metal.
The large amounts of bondo are more concerning to me, cause with bare metal you can see whats wrong. With the bondp.... you're not sure what's underneath... or not.

Good luck, keep the pics coming. I'm sure it will be a stunning car by time you're done.
