new splash guard pics
As you know I have spent the summer going through my 68. I don't think I'll finish by the time snow flies though. I pulled the new fenders off and installed the splash guards that came in last week. It was very easy to say the least. It is a definate must for rust prevention. Cleans up the wheel wells as well. There was only one rubber flap that on the front splash guard that puzzled me. It didn't seem to serve a purpose. You can see it in the pics. I buttoned up the front valance as well. While I was at it I replaced my driver's side window regulator. Now I can roll up my window with one hand
. I ordered my new fiberglass cowl hood last week. I was going to go with the 67 GT350 hood but chose the cowl instead.

Thanks Soaring. I know you probably won't care for this hood but I'm going for the restamod look.
