Default 1977 Granada

I know all the cool things off this car you can put on a classic Mustang. But I was looking under the rear, and WTF?! Is that an 8.8 I spy?

Well, is it?

it was too big to be that, and there wouldnt be a 6.5 (if that exists) behind a V-8

how about a pic with a yard stick under the housing? just for reference... its not impossible to have an 8.8 under there, but not factory that early...

The 8.8 didn't come out until '81-82 so it is either an 8 or a 9". Here is an interesting chart. http://www.precisiongear.com/ford7.htm

Indeed... but dont we have some 8.8s under classic stangs? now to think someone would put one in a granada is kinda silly... but still, someone silly just may have..
