Brake Swap Comments
As im waiting on my stang to get out of the body shop i've really been thinking heavily about the brake swap. I like dennis's design very well and the price isnt too shabby. I understand i cant run the stock 14 inc. rims with this set up, but thats not a problem. What are the other pros and cons of this swap, any other places to look besides the junkyard?
i dont really see any cons of the conversion except that it does cost money.reasonable prices though. if you want another choice ssbc has a full line of front/rear discs. id go w/ them. if its a daily driver id go with them imo. you know u need atleast 15 x 7 in general right? best of luck with your stang

Actually, I am waiting for Dennis to tell me he has the new kit where I can use my 14" Mag 500's. I will not buy another set of mag 500's. The damn things are over 200 bux each now.

I'm trying to find a setup that will work w/ my SS Craiger well/tire combo as well. I just spent 1500 bucks on wheels/tires, not gonna spend that again.
I hear that the Granada ( 70's era ) Disc setup is almost a bolt on swap. Is there anyone that can confirm this? I've access to a couple donor vehicles if so.
I replaced my front brakes with the Baer disk kit, and I am still running my 14" Cragers. The kit was 1500.00Cdn and a very simple install. The Calipers look pretty cool but for some reason I didn't take a pic with them on
