Default Emergency Brake Handle Install

OK,
My original E-Brake handle on my '66 has seen better days,... I bought a replacement,...
Does anybody have any tips/tricks on HOW TO GET THE OLD ONE OFF????

I do have a BIG SLEDGE HAMMER but.........

The New one didn't come with a new pin anything else...[&:]

nice, im digging those rear window louvres. its wierd no one has answered your question, i havnt changed mine or attempted to remove it so i really have no idea.

If you look on the right side of the handle you will see the pin. Drive that through the other side with a punch and a block of wood to back it up. If you didn't get a new pin, just use the old one. They are a PITA to change, so take your time and think it through before you act.
