Hi, this my first post, great site!

Ive got a question i hope someone can answer, has anyone ever seen a 351 cleveland factory fitted to a late 1969 Mustang (or other Ford)? i know they were avaliable in 1970, but ive got a couple of early 1969 cleveland blocks and wondered if any snuck into 1969 Mustangs, or were these early blocks used in 1970 cars?

I don't believe any clevelands made there way into a 1969, some windsors however did make there way into early 1970's.

 

Thanks, im very interested to persue this, might go no where, but ive found a M code "cleveland" reference on the option lists for the 69 Mustang, might be a rarity cause it was a new untried motor, but there might be a few around?

 

No 351c where installed in 1969.

Marti from marti works who has all the Ford records has confirmed this numerous times.

 

i got a cleveland in my 69, but it originally came with a 302
