Default Progress pictures.

My project is at a slow crawl since I started my new job but here are some progress pictures. Thought I could have it painted by 1 july. Now I'm just hoping for Christmas.

Sweet!

Looks really nice. I like your white face gauge setup. Is that one Reen Machines clusters or did you do it yourself?

So what's the idea of getting a job before completing the car. Now we have to wait all the way to January to see the completed project. What's more important here. Food and shelter for you, or the ability to provide us with pictures of a quality restoration?
Gee's, guess we all know where we stand now

I'm Navy and I had to go back to sea! Leave for work about 0430 and get home between 1600 and 1700. Plus there is a lot of underway time coming up. You know, out to sea for a week in port for a week. It is really cramping my style. I have to get it done before spring because I will deploy for 6 months.

The gauges are Autometer Phantoms and I mounted them in a new cluster. I'm really happy with them.

My Brother is ex-navy, My nephew and niece are both current Navy. I understand where you're coming from. Great work on the car.

I'm going to make a block for my Hurst shifter to move it back 2" (if I ever get done working on this stupid house). As it is now the 2nd-3rd shift is a bit of a reach. I'll try and post something on what I make. You may find the same thing, unless you've got really long arms.

Drove it once, it seemed ok but I like to be pretty close the steering wheel. The TMI seat buns with the sport upholstery have me sitting up pretty high though. I'm hoping they squash down after use. If I have a ball cap on, my hat will hit the headliner and I'm only 5' 11".

I'm still trying to get the console figured out. I just about have it after I found the padded console top on e-bay. I had it give like $165 just to get the padded top! Still have to paint the base turquoise.
