Default Hooker Comps Vs Super comps

Just talked to tech support line at Summitt they told me that with my engine set up being fairly mild (302, 600 holley, and performar manifold) I would be fine with regular comps and super comps would not give much more benefit, recommended just going with regular comps. I've decided on Hooker, ceramic but was not sure if super comps worth the extra $200 - any insights appreciated. thanks

Not worth it unless your engine is highly modded for power.

unless you really need that little extra power they offer(i.e. drag racing) dont spend it. you wont even get the seat of the pants feel either.

Super Comps also have a lot LESS ground clearance.

Not a big deal if you are a drag racer, but if handling is important super comps won't provide enough clearance.
I am currently in the process of replacing my super comps because of this issue.
#8 tube cracked after one too many speed bumps, sigh.

you won't feel a difference between the two and if im not mistaken I think the supercomps are routed slightly different on the driver side and it's supposed to make things even more of a biatch to install (like putting in headers isn't already a headache).

This is true too, the super comps are much more difficult to install on the drivers side!
