transmission cooler?

Default transmission cooler?

im in the process of deciding what radiator to get but, some say they are equipt w/ a tranny cooler and some are not. do i need a transmission cooler? if i get a radiator that is NOT equipt with a tranny cooler, where can i buy one and where do you guys mount them? please post pics of your set-ups and include if your radiator was equipt w/ it or you put a seperate one. THANKS!

If you wind up getting a alum radiator and don't plan on running it HARD, you don't need one..

You will need a cooler, but it doesn't have to be built into the radiator. Many places make a stand alone transmission cooler that mounts in front of your tranny (anywhere with air flow). You can also get electric fan equipped tranny coolers.

Yep. Though you can put a tranny cooler on a manual tranny if you really wanted to.

Yep, I have a 4 row with the tranny cooler holes in the bottom of it, and I just plugged it with two bolts. Works for me.

okay good because i just ordered an aluminum radiator with tranny holes but plan to switch to a 5 speed in the hopefully near future from my C4....
