Default Need help Identifying tools

Today one of my patients gave me some tools that he doesn't need any more. I had been talking to him about possibly needing a pickle fork and he said he had one.

Here are a few more that he brought I'm pretty sure one is a steering wheel puller.

The other two appear to be come sort of pullers as well. Does anyone know what these are

Photo #1 this I think is the steering wheel puller

Photo 2 & 3 Don't know

Photo 4 Don't know

Photo 5 these must be parts that fit onto some type of puller

top picture is most commonly refered to as a harmonic balancer/steering wheel puller.
The second picture is a very nice bearing puller, it can be used with the arms in the bottom picture for deeper set bearings. Works great for axle bearings, pilot bearings, etcera.
Just to add to Soarings post. That spring compressor is to compress the coil springs, like on the front of your Mustang. It drops through down through the center after removing the shocks (and shock caps), and grabs the top and bottom coils. Then the bolt compresses the jaws (and coils) together.

Nice patients you have!

C'mon, didn't you learn these in medical school?

Photo #1 is a cranial auger

Photo 2 & 3 are thumb screws

Photo 4 is a rib spreader

Photo 5 are gougers for gouging prices

Yes he is a nice guy. It's a good thing that I take good care of him, and I invited him to our office open house pizza party.

Also now that you mention it when I was in anatomy lab in Chiropractic school we might have used some tools like them.

Here in one more tool, he said it was some type of seal puller.

I also did not mention the brand new in the pakage timing light, the pickle fork and several sockets and in impact screw driver that he gave me. I gues now I'm going to need to do some front end work now that I have the tools.

Thanks for the help. I told him I would post some photos and have probably fingure them out by the end of the day.

He was right about it being a seal puller. it is used to remove oil and grease seals on cars, SUV’s and light trucks.

That was very nice of him. What's nice about all this is that you will hardly use these tools. Most people go out and buy them and use them just once. You were just able to skip the "buy" it process.
