RE: parcel shelf
I just replaced mine a week ago, so I still have the old one. I measured it, and it is 53 1/2 inches long and an odd shape in the back for the width. It is 8 inches on the ends and 10 inches in the center. Take a look.

Glen, i am a not concours guy but i am not full restomod either, i was thinking a little thin foam some tasteful, imo, embriadary and it will be different but not over showey, if done correctly, i was think a copy of the 65 fender mustang fender badge, with the pony the correct direction when looking from the back, now if was really flash i would stick some glowbo type light that lights up with the main lights. That might be a bit distracting driving though but i think it would look fine. 6 I was being polite just be glad i did not use the English slang for Americans.....

Just remember that you will need to trim the masonite a tad at the ends to get it to fit with adding vinyl and padding to it. Also, remember that the rear portion of the shelf fits under the rubber gasket for the rear window, and it is already tight enough as it is, so if you use a foam rubber under the vinyl, don't take it al the way to the edge. When you get 'er done, snap some shots to share with us. Sounds like a fun project. BTW, what is the slang for Americans? If it is an unacceptable term to be used on this forum, then PM me. I'd like to know.
