my mirrors on my stang right now have a smaller Base then the new ones i just bought...... is this bad? How do install new mirrors?

 

i don't know but what i can tell you is that make sure you use that litle rubber gasket thing

 

I also have the same problem. I had a simple solution, I didnt install them.

But seriously, I'd also like to hear how someone else installed them. Did you just drill new holes?

 

well i would just drill new hole and get a small strip of metal that fits behind the door where the mirror goes and have it screw into that you could even use small bolts or machine screws with lock washers to keep it tight
