air cleaner size??

Default air cleaner size??

im going to get a JEG'S smooth top air cleaner but dont know what size to get! i have a 1965 mustang with a 289. i have a 570cfm Holley carb and a Edelbrock performer intake with stock motor mounts. i want a 14x3 but dont know if i should get :center base, center drop, offset base.?? i dont know what that means!?! PLEASE HELP quick so i can include it in my order by noon!

How much clearance do you have between your hood and carb top? I run drop base air cleaners for the improved air flow characteristics. Read the info in the Moroso air cleaners page on Jeg's for some clarification on that.
Oh yeah....Center base.

I have a 14" drop base, but depending on your dizzy you may run into clearance problems.
