Default questions

Have a few questions for the experts. I have a 1965 Coupe that has been sitting in a barn for many years. I am looking at doing a resto-mod on it. It has an I6 in it if I get to do this I wanted to put at least a 289 in it possibly a 302. Do the shock towers have to be modified for a 302 to fit? I realize to do this lots of things have to be changed but that isn't my concern at the moment.

Short answer...No. There will however be several things you will need to change.
