Well idk abouth the wheels being to big i think they look great but the grille most likely later.
Its not that the wheels are too big, its more that you need to either run a taller sidewall tire so it fills out the wheel wells more OR you could lower the car a bit and get the tires you have now to work a little better. Right now, you have a nice rim/tire setup but its not complimenting the car as well as it could be because there is too much fender-to-tire gap.

Here is your original statement.
>>>This is my 1967 Mustang i think its absolutely beutiful it has a 289 V8 cobra engine, everything has been recromed.I love it, i just wanted to get your opinions. <<<<

Now that you have heard the very constrained comments by the members here, are you still convinced you have a 289 V8 Cobra engine? The car you have started out to be a very beautiful classic Mustang, but has been altered to resemble something that it is not. It obviously has a straight and good looking body, and many of the original parts are still in place, which is a good thing. I realize you didn't make these changes to the original car, but you could take steps to put it back to the original beautiful car it was when it came from the factory. Fake is fake. You are not fooling anybody, and especially yourself.
I know its not a real Cobra engine i said cobra engine because of the things i put on it.Im not changing anything since i have read there posts. I just wanted their opinions.Just because ive made it to look like a 1967 GT500 it might not look like 1 in all ways or even at all it still a beutiful car Shelby or not.I understand that it has some mods on it but i think those mods make an improvement on its look i think it looks great. And again i know its not a Cobra engine.

Chase.

I think it's awesome. As a matter of fact, I was going to do mine the same way except add a R valance. I decided to get the cowl hood instead of the 67 GT 500 hood. I thought the cowl would give it more of a restamod look(Soaring[8D]). I even have the same wheels. Thumbs up to you Chase, it is a beautiful custom restamod. Some of you guys who are driving turds are quick to pass judgement and criticise people who are proud of their rides.

Very nice car, and the house behind it is really nice.

Heres and engine idea for you

The right engine for your car!

Nice car...have to agree with the others though that the Shelby and GT500 is a poseur. You have a beautiful car and you don't need to fake anything.
+1

Great car, but I would seriously get rid of the GT-500 and Shelby badging. I too have a Mustang with Shelby mods (see pic), but in no way would I ever put the names Shelby, GT 350, or GT 500 anywhere on the car, as that would be all-out lying and posing.

Besides, do you really want to the see the disappointing look on everyone's face when you answer their FIRST question about your car - "Is that a REAL Shelby?" [:@][:@][:@]

Otherwise - nice ride. I saw one just like it for sale out of SoCal last year - are you the lucky purchaser?

I was curious too...Did you buy the car the way it is, or did you do the work?

There was a 1967 red Shelby coupe named "Little Red". It was a prototype for a Shelby coupe. Shelby decided not to produce them and destroyed "Little Red" we think?. Ford picked up the design and produced the California Special GT/CS in 1968. Your car would make a great "Little Red" clone. There was also the "Green Hornet" prototype that is still in existence and going up for auction at Barrett-Jackson this winter. The estimate is over $2,000,000.
