Default Radio w/ iPOD connection for '67 Mustang

Does anyone know if there's an AM/FM radio w/ iPOD connection available for a '67 Mustang?

Buy an Alpine that supports the Ipod and mount it in the glovebox. I have one in my 2001 F-150 Supercrew...never listen to the radio or cd lol. Fm the transmitters don't work that well, I had one worked 80% of the time other 20% was interference and I had one of the good ones.

while we're on this topic, will a normal size cd player fit in my 68's dash without serious modification. I imagine i'll need some sort of a bezel, but what about the wiring. My existing set up has like 4 wires, power, ground, speakers, and antenna. Will this work by just splicing into the corresponding ones on the head unit?

Most all new cd player head units are the same--they come with a harness that plugs into the back and then it has a bunch of wires ready to be spliced: power, ground, and then the +/-'s of all the speakers in your system. The easiest thing to do is figure out which wires are the + & -'s that go to each of your respective speakers and then splice them in using the wiring diagram of the head unit that corresponds with that speaker (i.e. make sure you splice the left front speaker wires in with the left front speaker wires on the harness).

As far as fitment, I am not sure about eh 68, I know with mine there was some serious(non-reversable) and very precise cutting that had to happen in order to get the deck in. In addition, because there is no support from the backside on those older dashes, you will have to fab up some sort of support bracket that can mount to the firewall and keep your deck from bouncing.

+1. I have that same one with the iPod cable and I like it. Looks really good too. The buttons and face plate don't protrude at all. Mine is in the dash because the PO had already cut a hole in it. I used all new speaker wiring and speakers when I put my cd player in.
