nah in that pick the chrome drip rail thing is removed, i think he means the little track that is under that is completely shaved off, ive seen it, it looks okay on a resto mod but i dunno the effects in the rail.
EDIT: im pretty sure the Terliguas Dallas Mustang makes have em grinded completely off.

We just popped mine off by using the "tool" the mustang monthly article said to fashion (available in the faq section if your curious), Ill take pics in the morning and try to upload them to my website..
dont take the drip rails off you will regret it.... i would suggest taking the chrome moldings off because they look stupid...the only reason that cars dont have driprails anymore is to save money... have you noticed that on a new car if you roll down the windows in the morning that the dew will fall into the car and usually lands on the electronic switches... if you had drip rails it wouldnt do that but i guess ford put them on there for a reason so im gunna leave mine on
