Damn! That does look a little messed up. The one on mine is a little weathered, but you can tell brand new it was clear.

Mine looks identical to the one from John's Mustang and I bought it from Mustangs Unlimited.

Yep, I'm in Sugar Land area. John's Mustang ususally has relatively competitive prices but tech service/knowledge is limited. Know what you want, order on online, and pick it up. Don't expect anyone there to be a wealth of knowledge....Isn't there a mustang parts place in Katy area (mustang mania or something like that)?.

Sorry, not trying to hijack this thread Adrian1..that cowl cover is clear acrylic and has a peel off plastic protective covering. I left the plastic covering on as I'm not too interested in how it looks but more about function.

Bolted? How do you mean?

The ones on mine have twist-locks on them. The lower end of the pin is a "T" and it fits through the cowl slits. Than you turn the **** at the top 45* and it holds it in place by spring.

I was just in the Houston area two days ago. Played a concert at Pearland. They had their "Meet the town" celebration, so the community band played for that. Anyhoo, you guys who are using the cowl covers really need to get those cowls fixed so you can cruise during these cool nights with the vent open and the windows down.
